Bring Your Firearm, Learn From Our Gunsmith

Not every firearm disassembles the same way, and a lot of the malfunctions people run into over time come down to cleaning habits rather than anything wrong with the gun itself. In this two-hour class, you'll bring your own handgun or long gun and work directly with our gunsmiths on the proper disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly process for that specific firearm, along with the care and maintenance habits that keep it running reliably for years. The class costs $100, which includes a cleaning kit that's yours to take home once the session is over, and sessions are limited to sixteen participants so everyone gets real one-on-one time with the instructor rather than watching from across the room.

What You'll Learn

You'll practice the full cleaning cycle on your own firearm, starting with the correct disassembly sequence for your specific model, then removing fouling and buildup from the barrel and other critical surfaces, applying lubricant to moving parts in the right amounts and the right places, and reassembling everything correctly before you leave. Along the way our gunsmith will point out what to look for during inspection, including early signs of wear or damage that can affect how the firearm functions down the line.

We'll also cover what tends to go wrong when cleaning gets neglected, including failures to eject properly, a noticeable drop in accuracy, and faster wear on the internal mechanisms that keep the firearm running smoothly. By the end of the class you'll know how to keep your firearm in good working condition on your own, using the same kit you'll take home with you.
